Hardware Note

This numerical rating represents the printer's technical power in relation to others. The algorithm developed is proprietary and takes into account more than 100 factors such as processor, RAM, internal storage, software ecosystem, operating system version, release date, screen quality, extra features such as filament end sensors, cameras and much more. The algorithm also takes into account new printers that are launched. Whenever a new printer is added to the database, all scores are updated, positioning themselves accordingly. In other words, a printer that gets a score of 10 today will probably have this value lowered as new models are launched.

Cost-Benefit Note

The cost-benefit algorithm takes into account the printer’s hardware score compared to the model’s price on the market. Whenever a new individual offer appears, the score for all of them is updated. This is because if the price of a superior printer goes down, the cost-benefit of an inferior 3D printer goes down. Factors such as release date, how well the brand is received by users, etc. are also taken into account. This will make life much easier for anyone thinking of buying a new 3D printer.
